The Complete Account Plotting of The Native Son.

The Story Begins with one-room, rat-infested apartment of the protagonist’s family, the Thomases Bigger Thomas, the protagonist, is scheduled to attend a job interview which is to serve as the lifeline for the poor Thomas family.

He is, however, reluctant and this troubles the mother, who is also a single parent, because the family will be cut off from welfare supply if the eldest child of the family refuse to take this important Job offer.

As he is about to leave Mary’s blind mother enters the room. She calls to her daughter who is heavily drunk but tries to Mumble a response, realising that if Mary speak his presence in the room would be discovered, Bigger place a pillow over her face to prevent her voice from being heard.

Bigger leave home, having already grudgingly accepted to attend the interview, but goes to a poor bar with the intention to hang out with his friends.

A plot to rob a white man’s delicatessen a hatched. After this, Bigger leave home goes with one if the friend, Jack, to watch a double feature movie.

The movie eventually influence bigger into the going for the Job interview and dropping the robbing plan he is actually scared of carring out.

He goes for the Job interview and succeeds in getting hired as a Chauffeur to a rich white family, the Dalton.

They eat together at the same table and have some drinks too. They leave the black neigbourhood and bigger, on instruction, drives Mary and Jan round the park while the white lovebirds fondle in the back seat and drink some more.

Jan Gives Bigger some communist Pamphlets before leaving him and Mary to ride Home.
